Recycling time in Italy

I hope you are ready for Christmas.  It’s literally days away.  Before Santa visits, you might want to clean out all the old tv’s, broken electronics, old computers and laptops.  If you have any of these things you would like to recycle, you may bring them to City Hall at 161 W. Main St., November 15-November 19.  Just come to the side door of the City Hall and bring only electronic items.  No electric cooking utensils or vacuum cleaners.  Please adhere to the following list:

Computer Towers            All in One Computers

Laptops                              iPads/Cell phones/Tablets

LCD Flat Screens                Servers

Copiers                                Projectors

On Saturday, December 4, 2021, Italy will host its annual Christmas Festival.  The theme this year is Buon Natale, which means Merry Christmas in Italian!  This year, the festival will begin at 2:00 pm with vendors of crafts, food, jewelry and much more!  There will be different singing events from local performers throughout the day.  At 5:30 pm,  enjoy the music fare of The Midtown Playboys. The Christmas parade will begin promptly at 8:00 pm and will be a lighted parade.

This year will be fun and you will want to invite your family and friends to show off how Italy, Texas can start the season with a bang!

If you are interested in being a vendor for the festival or be included in the parade, please see forms below.  Just fill them out and return to
