MERRY CHRISTMAS IN ITALY!

On Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 10am-12pm, Italy will have the Christmas-time festivities begin.

We begin the event with a parade featuring the award-winning Italy High School Marching Band at 10am. The parade will end up at the Cargill-Gallman Pavilion, where the band from Central Baptist Church will begin their Christmas music. In addition, there will be a children’s area at the Italy Community Center, featuring Santa, cookie decorating and writing a letter to Santa. There will be raffles, hot chocolate and popcorn. Come one, come all and have Christmas fun! The City of Italy has been involved with Toys for Tots for several years and City Hall, the Police Department and Public Works will take a new, unwrapped toy and give it to the Marines, who in turn will keep the gift in Ellis County and give to a deserving child.
